Meet at the Mittagong McDonald’s at 9:30am for a 10am departure or meet local guide Les at Mt Werong on Saturday for lunch in the forest. This ride will take in some great country back roads and lookouts over the Central West.   Mostly gravel and great for the big adventure bikes or 650’s.  Meet at Mittagong Macca’s to travel along the Wombeyan Caves Road - Range Fire Trail - Oberon (Lunch & Fuel is needed) I will meet group on Range Fire Trail, others can meet at Oberon.  Then travel via Sewells Creek – Blayney (Fuel) – Carcoar.  Staying at the Royal Hotel at Carcoar.  Sunday will be Carcoar – Pennsylvania State Forest – Trunkey – Burraga – Jerrong Rd – Taralga for lunch.  Riders can go their own way home from there. Meet at Braidwood at The BAKERY in the middle of town (NOTE: the Old Garage Cafe is now permanently closed) 9.00AM for 9.30 Start. Ride via Angle Crossing and scenic Yaouk - very picturesque indeed. Return Sunday via excellent trails into Cooma, then via back road dirt to Numeralla, and home to Braidwood. Book your own accommodation at Cool Mountain Lodge on 6454 2200.  Ask for Michelle and mention John Baker and the Ulysses Club.  Deal is $90 per person twin share, with private bathroom, two course dinner (roast beef and vegies, plus apple crumble) and breakfast. Wednesday 18th, meet at South Nowra Maccas 9am for a 9.30am departure. Ride via Brooman and Shallow Crossing to Nelligen then via Runnyford Rd to re-join the Hwy near Moruya. Refuel and then have lunch at Bodalla. After lunch head over the GDR via Belowra, arriving in Bombala for the night at the Globe Hotel (02 64583077). Alternative accommodation (Bombala Manneroo Motel 02 64583500) Thursday 19th, ride via Delegate, McKillops Bridge and Limestone to Omeo. We will have a light lunch on the road so come prepared. After refuelling we head over to Dargo via Dogs Grave (a detour may be necessary if roads are closed due to snow). Dargo Pub (03 51401231) has a dinner bed and breakfast package. It is a central location to enable everyone to attend without travelling excessive distance and also being able to do as a day trip rather than having to stay overnight . Although there is plenty of accommodation for those who want to stay and turn it into a big day or a romantic weekend with their wife/partner.
